Events, Workshops and Courses

DogShow_59The Centre is used by many groups, societies and individuals for a variety of events, nevertheless, some of these are open to the general public – please check out this website from time to time for details of these.

The Centre has also launched an initiative to work with disengaged young people within the community and beyond through greater contact with the natural environment. We are working closely in partnership with Neath Port Talbot Forest Schools and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme to provide opportunities for young people that will lead to greater self-respect, positive focus in life and provide employment opportunities.

IMG_9711We also run Duke of Edinburgh Award programmes for local young people – in partnership with Local Schools and Youth Organisations. Wilderness experience programmes also take place on Monday evenings throughout the Winter with events planned for school holidays – Mums and Dads are very welcome in these..!

Outdoor Educational Programmes run continuously throughout the year and provide the knowledge to allow individuals to safely live and work with groups in the outdoors. This includes leader training and Remote First Aid.
